It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Griffin Horton (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Griffin and Mary Taylor Griffin; her husband Carl Wesley Horton, Sr.; her children, Linda Gay Horton, Carroll Wayne Horton, Robert Allen Horton, Richard Lee Horton and Victoria Ann Horton; her brother Robert Taylor Griffin; and her great-nephew Jackson Griffin.
She is survived by: her son Carl W. Horton, Jr.; and her sisters, Sylvia Griffin Moore and Debora Griffin Stilley (Brient). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
