She was predeceased by: her daughters, Melissa Lynn McIntyre and Sandra Fleming Edmundson; and her sisters, Norma Thompson and Hilda Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Fleming Tillman (Tony) of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Logan Tillman, Scott McIntyre and Skyler McIntyre; and her sister Janice Harrison (Marcellus) of Goldsboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
