It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Lee Best (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Virginia Carol Best; and his brother Carson Best. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ella Kornegay Best; his daughters, France Jones (Speed) and Kathryn Patterson (Larry); his brothers, William Best and Donnie Best; and his grandchildren, Amanda Peeden (Roger), Nicole Miller and Heather Joy (Drew).
