She was predeceased by : her former life partner Roland Thomas Davenport; her siblings, Linwood Earl Grady, Johnny Grady, Wayne Grady, Louise Daly and Martha Ray Gay; and her son-in-law Joe Thornton.
She is survived by : her husband Russell Gibbs; her children, Roland Edward Davenport (Mary Ann) of Snow Hill, Michael Lee Davenport of Texas and Becky Thornton of Goldsboro; and her sister Margie Mae Jenkins of Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
