It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Armbrester of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Richardson and Melissa Barnes Richardson; her children, Carl Douglas and Bridget; and her brothers, Jasper, Donnell and Bobby.

She is survived by: her children, Virgil Jay Armbrester of Hampton, VA and Melissa Ringwalt (Stuart) of Burlington, NC.; her grandchildren, Brittney Armbrester of Newport News, VA and Cameron Armbrester (Valencia) of Sanford, NC.; and her siblings, Charlie, Katherine, Linda Richardson of Goldsboro, NC and Stanley Richardson (Diane) of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Guests are welcomed, provided they practice social distancing and wear masks.
