She was predeceased by: her husband Dwight Moody Franks, Jr.; and her brothers, Herbert Peebles, William Peebles and John Peebles. She is survived by: her sons, Dwight Moody Franks III (Linda) of Goldsboro and Charles Lane Franks of Sumter, SC; her grandchildren, Robert Franks (Emily), Jonathan Franks (Aubrey), Joshua Franks, Mackinzie Franks and Haley Franks; and her brother Robert Peebles (Carolyn) of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 S. Madison Avenue, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
