He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Berta Gay Delbridge and William Matthew Delbridge; and his sister Alice Delbridge Woodard (Linwood Woodard) of Conway, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Lola Peele Stephenson Delbridge; his children, Lola Catherine Delbridge Hicks (Ben Young Hicks) of Fredericksburg, VA, Matthew (J. D.) and Mary Lynnette Delbridge (Andrew William Meckstroth) of Bethlehem, PA.; his great grandchildren, Margaret Miller Delbridge, Grace Stephenson Delbridge of Goldsboro, Helen Louise Meckstroth and Carol Linnea Delbridge of Bethlehem, PA; his sister Mary Elizabeth Delbridge Blalock (late William Saunders Blalock); and also Autumn DuVal Hicks of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
