She was predeceased by: her parents, Onzer Lee and Lillie Mae Pate; her siblings, Luberta Pate, Earlene Panting and Donald Ray Pate; her husband James Lee Bryant, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Ray, Sylvester, Candace, VaNesha, Shanequa, Danielle, Brandon, Shaquenta, Malikah, Nathaniel II, Emmanuel, Sheldon, James III, Natalie, Jordan, Kailyn and Jasmine Bryant (Christopher J. Sanders).
She is survived by: her grandson Christopher J. Sanders; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel III, Carmyn, Aiden, Mackenzie and Noah; and her siblings, Ruth Artis of Philadelphia, PA, Della Edwards (Lewis), Sallie of Washington, Joyce Johnson, Lula Bynum, Bonnie Suggs (Allen), Charles Lee Pate (Ozzie Lee) and Edward Earl Pate. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and adopted children.
