Norma Blackburn Kriger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2021, at the age of 98, Norma Blackburn Kriger (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Blackburn Kriger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David James and Katie Elizabeth Blackwell Blackburn; her siblings, Lonnie, Moseley, Sissy, Buddy, Merle, Dudley, Bessie, Eva, Noel and Julia; and her son Ray Kriger.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Kriger and Rev. David Kriger (Louise); her daughter-in-law Mahala Kriger; and her grandchildren, Steve Kriger, Bryan Kriger, Sherri K. Cox (Randy), Tracy K. Braddy (Greg), Joshua Kriger, Adam Kriger (Renee), Noah Kriger (Leslie), Carson Kriger (Adrienne), Ray and Bobby. She is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren, and eight great, great grandchildren.
Her family owes a debt of gratitude to all the "angels" who cared for her so tenderly on the Covid floor and through Hospice at Wayne Memorial Hospital, and to Sally, her precious home health worker, all who were beyond compassionate and loving, so our "Mema" surely reaped what she has sown all her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, in support of Norma's three grandchildren who have Type I diabetes, will be welcome and appreciated.
