With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Retha Smith Peele (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Smith and Arzella Smith; her husband James "Bob" Peele; and her daughter Vickie Lanette Peele. She is survived by: her children, Michael Peele (Linda) and Becky Peele; her grandsons, Adam Peele and Mark Peele; her sisters, Ada Belle Smith Reeves and Annie Smith Rollins; and her close friend Dorothy Mason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those attending the services are asked to wear a facial covering and practice social distancing measures.
