He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Perkins and Sara Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Perkins; his children, Sherry Daughtry (Brian) of La Grange, Michael Perkins (Stephanie) of Goldsboro and Mark Bridgers (Sonja) of Grantham; and his siblings, Ken Nunn (Lucy) of Swansboro and Barbara Thornton (Bob) of Clinton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
