With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Cantey Jr. (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Lake City, South Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae and McRoy; and his siblings, Fred, Sandy and Martha Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Paul (Linda), Martin (Joanne), Lisa and Marianne; his sisters, Mary Nell and Pam; his grandchildren, Sean, Tim, Kelly, Russell, Sam and Adam; and his great grandchild Kaison.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Wayne Opportunity Center and Cures for the Colors.
