She was predeceased by: her former husband R. G. Williams; and her brothers, Randy Hinson and James Edward Hinson. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Uzzell; her daughters, Catherine Bennett of Goldsboro and Suzanne Rhodes (Timmy) of Newport; her brother Don Hinson (Frances) of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Ashley Keen, Stephen Rhodes, Stephanie Myers, Dr. Kateland Bennett and Bryan Price; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Keen, Ivy, Drayton, Weston Myers, Ashton, Carter Poindexter and Corrie Price.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in Sabena's memory to the charity of one's choice.
