With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Pate Smith (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pate and Sally Gardner Pate Forehand. She is survived by: her children, Don Oliver Smith, George Pate Smith and Starr Smith Lupton; her stepgranddaughter April Ingram; her great grandchildren, Jerrica Lewis, Tyler Corser, Cheyanne Lewis, Schylar Lewis, Tristan Lewis, Hayden Enriquez, Maddox Anglin, Ashton Magnus and Austin Williford; her stepgreat-grandson Tyler Jones; and her great great grandchildren, Noah Hill and Ella Corser.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
