He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Donald and Lois Taite Patzer. He is survived by: his wife Amy Scott Patzer; his children, Adam Dunton Anthony (Beth) of Maine, Phillip Graham Patzer (Carson) of Kinston, Andrew Joseph Patzer of Reno, NV, Maddox Brantley Potter of Goldsboro, Seth Patrick Potter of Goldsboro and Elizabeth Hope Patzer of Goldsboro; his siblings, Susan Diane Patzer Hicks (Evan) of California, Scott David Patzer (Rhonda) of Nile, MI, Shawn Daryl Patzer of Michigan and Sharla Dawn Williams of Florida; and his grandson Owen Ray Patzer. He is also survived by 5 Nephews; and 5 nieces.
