With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Hall Best (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on July 30, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles James Hall and Helen Margaret Boston Hall. She is survived by: her husband William Wakefield Best; her daughters, Laura Tilghman (Dwayne) of Goldsboro and Julie G. Best of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, William Best and Abbygayle Best; and her siblings, Charles Michael Hall (Lauren), Judy Slater (Richard) and Jane Curran (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Salem United Methodist Church, 2706 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
