He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Register and Virginia Harper Register. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Register; his children, Milton Platt (Michelle), David Register (Shannon) of California, Tom Register (Shari) of California, Eddie Hinson of Goldsboro, Valerie Holland (Brandon) of Princeton, Amber Hinson of Goldsboro and Darlene Register of California; and his siblings, Bill Register of Texas and Donnie Hodges (Tom) of Texas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
