With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommie Powell (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tommie Powell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick B. Powell and Sadie Casey Powell of Wayne County. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Joseph La Pilusa of Gainesville, Virginia; his son Henry; his daughter-in-law Nancy Tyndall Powell of Kinston; and his grandchildren, Natalie Tyndall Guffey and Prentice Tyndall, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
