She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Nipson Fairey and Annie Elizabeth Taylor Fairey; and her husband Luther Herbert Thomas, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Thomas (Barbara) of Wilmington and Mike Thomas (Cindy) of Granite Quarry; her grandson Michael Thomas of Princeton; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Coleman and Nicholas Thomas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her memory to Wayne County Humane Society, P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, NC 27533 or to the Salvation Army, 610 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
