She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Edwin Baker; her son-in-law Mark Gettle; her daughter JoAnne Joyner; and her brother Davis Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Kay Baker Scheetz of Hampton, VA, Robert Owen Baker (Karen) of Mount Olive and Elizabeth "Beth" B. Gettle of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Melissa Koos, Sara Ruhl (Tobias), Alison Baker, Meredith Batchelor (Jonathan), Army Specialist Lukas Baker, Kelly Gettle and Brett Gettle; her great grandchildren, Ryan Koos, Brandon Batchelor, Natalie Koos, Haleigh Batchelor, Kamryn Baker, Wesley Ruhl, Branna Baker, Elora Toran and Claire Ruhl; and her siblings, John Phillips, Barbara Phillips, Helen Monroe and Dot Lancaster.
