He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kennedy Bridgers and Catherine Metz Bridgers; his daughters, Mary Scott Bridgers and Molly Carr Bridgers; his siblings, John Kennedy Bridgers, Jr., Brutus Stallings Bridgers and Catherine Bridgers Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Talton Newell and Charles Stephens Norwood, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Julie Talton Bridgers; his grandson David Thomas Odom; his sisters, Nancy Bridgers Norwood and Barbara Bridgers Garey (George); his siblings-in-law, Lillian Overman Bridgers and Dover Gladstone Moore; his niece Sherry Bush Stafford (DeNeal); and his great-nephew John Willis Bridgers (Anna). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Attendees are asked to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
