It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William David McRoy Jr. formerly of Goldsboro, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William David McRoy and Pearl Stewart McRoy. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jerri" Worrell McRoy; his children, Leigh Edwards, Larry McRoy, David McRoy, Ginny Vickery (John) and Rebekah Williams (Travis); his grandchildren, Alise Fredrickson (Nate), Sarah Benko (Steven), Anna Potter (Jacob), Chelsea Vickery, Jacob Vickery (Jasmine), Casey Vickery, Caroline Williams, Langdon Williams and Molly Williams; and his great grandchildren, Clara Rose Potter, Von Potter, Sullivan Potter, Nolan Fredrickson, Walt Fredrickson, Katie Benko, Allison Benko, Ryan Benko, Thomas Benko and Grayson Vickery.
Attendees are asked to wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and bring a chair if needed.
