He was predeceased by: his father William Sherwood Jernigan. He is survived by: his children, Holly Michelle Jernigan of Mount Olive, Jonathan Glenn Jernigan (Scarlett Jackson Jernigan) of Mount Olive and William Gabriel Jernigan of Goldsboro; his grandchild Almon Jernigan of Mount Olive; his mother Carolyn Goodman Jernigan of Mount Olive; his siblings, Sharon Jernigan Flowers (Sam) of Rocky Mount and Larry Carroll Jernigan of Mount Olive; and his friends, Lynn and Ben Strickland of Goldsboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
