He is survived by: his wife Ernice Buckram Hobbs of Texas; his children, William Carroll Hobbs Jr. (Ari) of Tokyo, Rory Andre Worrells (Glenda) of Goldsboro and Celia Ann Hobbs (Jose) of Texas; and his siblings, Larry D. Jones of Goldsboro, James Carroll Hobbs Jr. of Goldsboro, Jerry Hobbs of Goldsboro, Leneniece Chambers (Delmas), Carolyn Kinsey (Kelly), Diane Hobbs Dixon, Sharon Matthews (Ronnie) of Goldsboro and Lila Bell Parker of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
