He was predeceased by: his brothers, Julian Sauls and Donald Sauls. He is survived by: his wife Gray Lancaster Sauls; his sons, Vernon Keith Sauls (Teresa) of Bailey, Bryant Sauls (Donna) of Eureka and Greg Sauls (Debra) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Miranda Sauls, Andrew Sauls, Kayla Sauls, Brylee Sauls, Chance Sauls and Gralynn Sauls; and his siblings, Edith S. Head, Dora Lou S. Radford, Charles Sauls and Wayne Sauls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in William's memory to Aycock Primitive Baptist Church, in care of Edith Head, 445 Reidtown Road, Fremont, NC 27830.
