He was predeceased by: his child Tequila Anderson of Goldsboro, NC. He is survived by: his wife Bettie Newsome; his children, Patricia Newsome of Goldsboro, NC, Jackie Ruffin (Gary) of Goldsboro, NC, Willie Newsome Jr. of Goldsboro, NC and Apostle Von Newsome (Catherine) of Goldsboro, NC; his sister Arounal Diggs (Bobby); and his sisters-in-law, Minnie Artis of Goldsboro, NC and Sylvestene Newsome of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
