It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Thompson (Graham, North Carolina), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Robert M. Thompson; her parents, Albert Roepke and Hermine Roepke; her daughter Janet Young (David); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Britain), Michael Scott, Stephanie Ortiz (Tomas), Jessica (Matt), Kelly McGhee (Christopher), Christina, Robert and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Kendra, Rylin, Myliah Hope, Serina Noelle, Carter Trey and Emilia Grey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to either the Lupus Research Alliance of NJ or the CJD Foundation.
