He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. "Butch" Euliss and Gaynell Younts Euliss; and his brother-in-law Butch Harrington. He is survived by : his daughters, Brittney, Bethany (Geoff Hedges), Meredith (Chandler Rose) and Megan (Alex Anderson); his wife Pam Meredith Euliss; his daughter B. Jane (Brent Buford); his grandchildren, Syd Buford, Ben, Jack Hedges, Madeline, Eleanor Rose, Everette and Lennox Anderson; his sister Cathy Harrington; and his nephews, Chase Harrington and John Harrington. He is also survived by his wife with all his heart, his daughters and his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Dan requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Toccoa, GA's Grow to Go fund where Dan led their capital campaign.
