It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Richter of Graham, North Carolina, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wharton and Eleanor Roos Wharton; and her husband William Richter, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mike Richter (Kathy) of Georgia, John Richter (Teresa) of Graham and Kathy Maricle of Arizona; her grandchildren, Sunni Parsons (Phyl), Chris Richter (Tiffany), Alan Richter and Brittany Flynn (Sean); and her sister Barbara LaBella of New York. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
