She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Kate Sparrow Payne; her stepfather John T. Payne; and her brother Winford R. Payne. She is survived by: her daughter Angela S. Payne of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Yolanda Payne of Greensboro, NC, Raven Sparrow of Greensboro, NC and Richard Sparrow of Greensboro, NC; her great grandchild Jaleiyah Payne of Greensboro, NC; her siblings, Julius Sparrow (Carolyn) of Varnville, SC, Melvin Sparrow of Evington and Wanda Bowman (Bertie) of Evington; her sister-in-law Elna Denise Payne of Lynchburg; and her friends, Everette Mickles, Gloria Haskins and Jeanette Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
