Ruth Boone Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2020, at the age of 94, Ruth Boone of Graham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Lee Horton Boone; her parents, Rev. Charles Alfred and Dinnah Hall Horton; her spouse Avery Moore "Hoss" Boone; her children, Sonya Wrenn (Louis), Angelia Payne (Albert), Karen Ouellette, Sharon Sumner (Alton) and Avery Mark Boone; her siblings, Obadiah "Buster", Woodson, Paul Horton, Hattie Haymore and Hallie Weddle; and her grandson Christopher Mark Boone. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church (founded by her grandfather), Attn: Haiti Medical Fund, 46 Hunters Ridge Rd., Dugspur, VA 24325.
