It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hayes of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie J. Hayes and Cordelia Cogdell Hayes; and his siblings, Bobby Hayes and Mary Jo Rudsill. He is survived by : his wife Juanita Reid Hayes; his children, Sandra Mays Harmon (Dale) of Hudson and Kevin W. Hayes (Ginger) of Hickory; his stepgranddaughter Emily Harmon Johnson (Matthew) of Statesville; and his brothers, Clarence "Bud" Hayes (Glenna) of Hudson and William "Fred" Hayes (Donna) of Hickory.
With the precautions during COVID-19 the funeral service inside the church will include immediate family only.
