He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Nelson Chapman; and his sisters, Durlean Watts Hipps and Mildred Watts Crump. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ollis Chapman; his children, Larry Chapman (Teresa), Jeffrey Chapman, Theresa Coffey (Bobby), Kenneth Clontz (Karen) and Donna Holden (Pat); and his brother Thurman Chapman (Merle). He is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
