He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy Secreast Bolick; his daughter Elisabeth Spillman (Isaac) of Winston Salem; his grandson Barrett Spillman of Winston Salem; his sister Judy Freeman (Melvin) of Hudson; his mother-in-law Maxine Secreast of Lenoir; his sister-in-law Sandra Cheek (Darrell) of Lenoir; his nephew Roger Taylor, Jr. (Tammy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan of Lenoir, Leah of Lenoir and Jack of Lenoir.
