He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Hill and Agnes Sharpe Hill; his son Gregory A. Hill; his sons-in-law, Randy J. Louya and Charlie A. Hartsoe; and his parents-in-law, Virginia W. and Wade S.
He is survived by: his wife Alice McRary Hill; his daughters, Wendi H. Hartsoe of Claremont, NC, Tammy H. Louya of Claremont, NC, Michelle H. Travis (David) of Landrum, SC and Tondi H. Campbell (Jeff) of Troutman, NC; his daughter-in-law Cindy S. Hill of Charleston, SC; his brother Jerry D. Hill of Terre Haute, IN; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl M. Bowman (Mike) of Granite Falls, David McRary (Carolyn) of Burnsville, NC and Terry McRary (Denise) of Conway, SC; and the mother of his children Stella B. Young. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
