She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cook and Hettie Edwards Cook; her husband Edmund Long Huffman; her sister Annie Huffman; and her half-siblings, Thelma Norman, Harlon, Ralph and Coleman Norman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Micki Karriker (Warren) of Mount Ulla, NC, Jill Hartley (Ken) of Southern Pines, NC, Lori Bolick (Dale) of Hickory and Robin Huffman-Webb (Steve) of Hickory; her sister Willa Dean Dula of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Doug Karriker, Matt Karriker, Lauren Hood, Josh Huffman, Wendi Smith and Lindsey Cox; and her great grandchildren, Colton Hood, Jenna Karriker, Will Karriker, Rachel Karriker, Gillian Karriker, Peyton Smith and Jake Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601 Mackie Funeral Home is serving the family.
