It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lail (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on April 8, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quince Fred Drum and Rose Mae Houston Drum; her husband A. C. Lail; her daughter Janet Lail Sipe; and her siblings, Jim Drum, Gloria Evans and Mac Drum.
She is survived by: her children, Cherry Lail Stilwell (Steve) of Hickory and Neal Lail of Hickory; her grandson Doran R. Stilwell of Hickory; her sister Brenda Kirby (Rick) of Sawmills; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Lail Bowman of Bethlehem, Maxine Lail of Granite Falls and Dorcas Drum.
