She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Nora Mullins Mills and Johnny Mills; her brother Ralph Mills; her daughter Michelle Thompson of Granite Falls; her brothers, Donald Mills of Ohio and Henry Mills of Clintwood, VA; her grandchildren, Marli Bryd of Boone, NC and Jamie Odom of Granite Falls; and her great grandchild Javamshe.

Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Life service will be held at a late date.
