With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Blair Yawn (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bessie Blair Yawn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Blair and Duskie Laughlin Blair; and her son Richard Parker Yawn. She is survived by : her husband Kenneth M. Yawn Sr.; her sons, Robert (Gail) of Idaho, Kenneth (Theresa) of Summerfield, Sammy (Sherry) of Greensboro and William (Sharon) of Greensboro; and her brother Robert Eoae Blair (Frances) of Lenoir. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
