We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, at the age of 93, Betsy Barnes Simpson of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betsy Barnes Simpson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leslie Edwin Barnes and Bessie B. Barnes; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by : her husband Robert Simpson; her son Edwin B. Simpson (Debby); her grandson David (Kayla); her brother John L. Barnes; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Roberts and Camille Simpson. She is also survived by her husband, family and friends.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 8th.

In lieu of flowers a gift may be made to AuthoraCare, or to the First Presbyterian Church music fund.
