It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Tharrington in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy Stinson and Elsie Hardin Stinson; her son Tracy; her siblings, Marylee, Sue, Tommy, Cooter and Buddy; and her niece Kimberly.
She is survived by: her daughter Crystal; and her grandchildren, Carl, Brook and Tracy, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Betty Lou's honor to the ASPCA, reflecting her love and compassion for all living beings.
