With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lawson Knotts (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peter Knotts and Edna Smith Knotts; and his daughter Stephanie Michelle Knotts. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Day Knotts; his daughter Kristie Knotts (Glen Brewster); his grandson William D. Brewster of Westfield, Mass.; and his siblings-in-law, Lucy Vanderwall (Steve) of Eustis, FL, Donald Day (Rene) of Costa Mesa, CA, Linda Kennedy (Jim) of Pikeville, NC and Donna Day of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC.
