He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hobart Nabors and Georgia Robbins Nabors; his wife Lenoria Newnam Nabors; his son Kerry Payton Nabors; his siblings, Ralph Nabors, Betty Rayle and Robert; and his sister-in-law Rusty Newnam (Audrey Newnam).
He is survived by: his son Kevin Nabors; his brother Jimmy Nabors (Georgia) of Greensboro; and his sibling's children, Kimberly N. Jordan (Robert) of Burlington, NC, Kay N. Lee (Randall) of Durham, NC, Robin N. Jones (Steve) of Greensboro, NC, Suzi N. Brewer (Scott) of Greensboro, NC and Barry Nabors of Greensboro. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and special friends.
