With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ervin Andrew Tate of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andy Tate and Ethel Irene McIntyre; his wife Mildred Vaughan Tate; his daughters, Yvonne Stevens (George) of Ashburn Virginia, Paula Daniel (Jerry) of Kernersville, NC and Erva Gilliam (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Christy Alexander, Kristin, Brandon and Tami Stevens. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Piedmont at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
