He is survived by: his children, Kathy Whitaker (Doug) of McLeansville, Larry Oxendine of Whittier and Christopher Oxendine (Claudia) of High Point; his grandchildren, Ashley Kessler (Daniel) of McLeansville and Kalee Miller of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne Oxendine (Joey) of High Point, Emily Oxendine of Sophia, Connor, Braylee and Emberly Kessler of McLeansville; and his siblings, CoraLee Robinson of Fairmont, France Scott (Billy) of Rowland, Ann Hunt (Elton) of Lumberton and Howard Strickland (Carolyn) of Greensboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
