She was predeceased by : her parents, Dimon Sharpe and Elizabeth Sharpe; her husband Samuel Edward Wilkes; and her son Timothy Edward Wilkes. She is survived by : her children, Danny Wilkes (Leigh), Rose Stanley (Timmy) and Shelia Taylor (Jerry); her grandchildren, Matthew Kalnen, Tiffany Jordan and J. J. Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Serenity Faircloth, Nathan Faircloth, III and Ella Taylor.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - Pleasant Garden Chapel (4601 Pleasant Garden Rd, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313).
