He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gordon Upchurch, Sr. and Mildred Deaton Upchurch; and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his sons, Blaine Lee Jarrett (Amy) of King and Bobby L. Jarrett (Michaela) of Greensboro; his granddaughters, Holly Jarrett and Anna Jarrett; his sister Susan Upchurch Stiller (Tim) of Bolivia, NC; and his close friend John Echerd. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Beacon Place at Authoracare Collective, 2502 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
