She is survived by: her husband Gary Montgomery Shore; her children, Rebecca Doss (Steve) and Gary Montgomery "Monty" Shore Jr. (Rajan); her grandchildren, Chris Doss (Amanda), Daniel Doss (Heather), Samuel Shore and Hannah Shore; her great grandchildren, Brooks Doss, Charlie Doss, Sadie Doss and Edie Doss; and her siblings, Sarah Smith, Thomas Allen, Ruth Moore, Mildred King, Sallie Shelton, Claude Allen, Robert Allen, Rachel Dowdy, James Allen and Ronald Allen. She is also survived by her family, neighbors, friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Centre Friends Meeting (325 North Carolina 62 E, Greensboro, NC 27406). A reception was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
