It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herbert Scales Sr. (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepmother Edna Scales; and his brother Marshall. He is survived by: his children, Arnold, Zetta and Melanie; his wife Fannie Berry Scales; his son James Herbert Scales, Jr. (Parris); his grandsons, James Herbert Scales III (Erin) and Christoper Scales; and his great grandchild Easton James Scales. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
