He is survived by: his wife Linda Hales Plummer; his children, James "Kirby" Plummer (Beverly), James Taylor "Jay" Plummer, Jr. (Deb), Cherry Lynn of Liberty and Ruby Gail Whitt (David) of Ramseur; and his sisters, Joyce Stephens of Liberty and Linda Cluberson (Tony) of Liberty. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
